A full head of foils took almost 5 hours. I was left with dripping hair waiting to have my hair cut. The back of my blouse was soaked and I had to ask for the hair dryer to dry my back. Other customers were being seen too and I was constantly left for long periods of time making me feel that because I wasn't paying full price I could wait! The stylist stopped cutting my hair and did a blow dry in the middle of my cut. My foils were left on or not toned right because my hair is almost white. The staff knew I wasn't happy but after the time I had spent there I just had to get out. I paid $139 for a Groupon voucher and $40 toner and I will have to go and get it fixed somewhere else. Very disappointed.

John cut my hair and I must say I’m usually pleased, but, I later noticed that he had taken a piece off my neckline with the razor which left it uneven. Also part of my fringe is just a tuft of hair, I only noticed all this once I left the salon. We had agreed I would let the top of my hair grow but he has taken off too much and I’m back to square one. I’m afraid it is seriously overpriced, I have short hair, I had a cut, regrowth and foils which cost me $365. I know it’s the city prices but still not worth the result. I’m not sure of the name of the colourist, I think it was Sascha and she was brilliant did a great job, she was lovely. I’m sorry it’s a negative review

I purchased a Groupon John Azzi hair styling package for $89. I was told when I made the booking that I could have my hair done by John Azzi himself because I am his client! When I arrived at the CBD salon for my appointment, a senior stylist - Rachel Wu told me that John Azzi would not be doing my hair despite what was said the day before by the Receptionist. She could do my hair! I think that this is unacceptable! In the Groupon deal, it should be stated that a senior stylist will do your hair and not John Azzi himself! The Groupon deal advert on John Azzi is very misleading! It is not recommended that you take the Groupon deal as John Azzi made it very clear that he will not do anyone's hair who has a Groupon voucher. I am now struggling to get my refund from Groupon!

My hairdresser Amanda was very rough with me. She dug the comb into my scalp and caught my ear a number of times and I have tiny ears. Staff were not nice to one another and the atmosphere in there was not pleasant. It's overpriced and I won't be going back.
