All bookings require a 50% deposit for Brow and Lash services or other services under $100, or a $100 deposit for Cosmetic Tatto or Skin appointments.

I booked for skin scope analysis, IPL, skin needling, and LED therapy to address hormonal hyperpigmentation following my second pregnancy. I had IPL for the same skin concern after my first pregnancy with incredible results so it was a no-brainer to get it done again. Emma began by scanning my face with the skin scope. It's fascinating to see the extent of sun damage and intensity of pigmentation that lies below the surface. Emma brought out my pigmentation using LED before starting IPL across my face, neck, and décolleté. The treatment makes your skin feel as though you have a scratchy sunburn. We followed this with skin needling. I opted for no numbing despite the numbing cream being safe for breastfeeding women. It was an intense treatment to have especially immediately after IPL (imagine repetitive scratching over a sunburn), however it was totally manageable with some deep, focused breathing. My skin was feeling pretty raw after needling so Emma put me under the LED machine using a different wavelength to accelerate healing. I was stunned that all of the rawness and pain disappeared within a few minutes. Normally I would get a cooling face mask after these treatments to relieve the burning sensation, but that doesn't touch the sides by comparison. LED took the heat right out of it - such a game changer! I'd absolutely recommend LED therapy following IPL and needling.

My overall experience every time I visit Thistle and Rose is exceptional, which is why I keep coming back :-) The staff are extremely friendly, warm, professional and attentive, and genuinely listen to your individual needs. I am always extremely pleased with the work they perform on my lashes and brows - they are extremely skilled at what they do! I wouldn't have my lashes or brows done anywhere else :-)

I have been visiting Thistle and Rose for years for lash lifts and brow tints, and it is amazing every time! The studio is beautiful and the staff are kind, professional, and knowledgeable.
