Dale has owned his own salon since he was twenty one. Over the years, he has surrounded himself with a fabulous team including his beautiful family and the very best hairdressers he could find. The result is a stunning boutique salon in the heart of South Perth.


At Dale James & Co we know you feel your best when you look your best. We love to see our clients leave the salon with the confidence that comes from looking their best.


We offer a Expert array of Salon Services including ( Cut, Colour, Perming and Hair Extensions in additon to our Make Up and Spray Tanning Services

My first visit to your salon and i have to say how impressed i am with the expertise and care i received from all of the team at Dale James & Co. Thanks so much for my new look! It's funny as it's like i recognise myself again - and for that i am so very grateful. I will definately not leave it as long, before i visit a professional salon again. I think i've just found my favourite place to go ;-)

Sarah was awesome and did an amazing job of colouring my hair. I love the end result - thank you Sarah (and Stefani who helped too!)😊 I am so grateful to Dale and his team - the service and professionalism they provide is fantastic. So glad that I found the salon - you have a customer for life.

I always enjoy coming to the salon. Ella is terrific at what she does and I have never been happier with my hair colour. At my most recent visit, I found the girl at the wash basin to be particularly rough and careless, unfortunately. I wasn't positioned correctly and had water running down the back of my neck and into my clothes. She asked if the water was the right temperature, but it was clearly cold - she had her hands in it? So it felt like she was asking out of habit, but hadn't used common sense. She was very rough with cleaning off the colour from around my hairline. It felt like she rubbed half of my makeup off - which felt unnecessary. She also splashed quite a bit of water on my face and in my eyes and when she was combing my hair, it was quite rough. She did ask if I was ok and apologised when I pointed out some of these things, but it just felt particularly clunky compared to normal. Sorry to complain! I just wanted to provide the feedback.

Dale James provides a really high customer experience every time you enter. The staff are always friendly, conversational and warm. They're all amazingly talented and you leave wanting to return quicker than you need to.
