Overall it was a disappointing experience. I was given 2 gift vouchers for the same experience last xmas. I used one earlier this year and thoroughly enjoyed it. However, when I used the last one this week, I was sat down before my session and told, "we were taken over by SaltAir and this isn't a service we offer now". You can have the same thing or I can change it up a bit for you. You have 90 minutes. After a discussion it was decided that my first 30 minutes would be a body scrub (service in the voucher), second 30 minutes would be a moisturising message (service in the voucher) and the final 30 minutes would be a mini facial, as an alternative to the foot therapy session (which was on the original voucher). However, when I finished and went to reception, I was asked to pay additional funds as the voucher didn't cover the services and was only for 75 minutes not 90 minutes. The therapist told me when I arrived it was 90 minutes and offered the above options. At NO point was I told there would be an additional fee for any of the services offered. The two people behind reception could not answer my questions as to why I was being charged more. They seemed to have little interest or concern. The actual session and services performed, were nice, but mediocre at best. Overall it was a disappointing experience and I won't return or recommend Fifth Element again. Especially when there is a place directly next door that offer more for less. You can give me all the tea and views you like, but I want to feel like I got my money's worth, and I certainly did not.
