CHANGING HAIRDRESSERS can be risky... so we've taken steps to make sure that it isn't.  We allocate extra time to find out exactly what you want before we start.  We employ the best of the best, including 3 time Tasmanian Hairdresser of the year(sole repesentative for Australia/New Zealand in the Trendzoom awards Berlin) plus highly awarded master stylists - award winners in every hairdressing category (including 2009,2010 national titles)  with  200 awards between them, plus specifically trained Goldwell Coloring to provide you with the best results and advice.  Relax on our massage couches while we wash your hair. Enjoy quality Italian Caffe Mauro coffee and a layout that means you're never looking into someone else's mirror. Try us... we'll do everything in our power to send you away happy!

Although I alway enjoy my experience with having my hair done at Sfumato (that is why I do recommend to friends & family) I do think $200 is expensive for a hair colour and cut. I would not be able to afford this if I still had a young family or were not still working.

Once again Matt has excelled himself - I adore my new colour and the cut feels fantastic. My Daughter and I had a double appointment but she was running late and yet Matt still made the time to wash, style (6 inches off) and blow dry it. Holly has not stopped touching and feeling it all weekend. Well done and thank you soooo much for your above and beyond service Matt, you're the best.

The level of service and quality at Sfumato easily beats any other salon I have encountered. All the staff are friendly and always do their best to meet your requests. Although pricing at Sfumato isn't the cheapest, it is also isn't the most expensive either and I don't mind paying a bit more when I leave 100% happy with my cut/colour every time.

Whilst the fees are probably standard for most fashionable establishments it is top dollar as far as what I can afford. But I do enjoy my visits and am very happy with the expertise of all staff I have encountered

Matt always does a fantastic job, kelli is great to when Matt not available. Probably only thing that would hesitate me recommending people is cost, but you generally get what you pay for, and can always guarantee getting a great haircut at sfumato.
