The Quay Aesthetics team consists of Nurse Practitioner, Lisa Sproule who has over 30 years clinical experience in the medical healthcare industry.  Plus our expert team of Advanced SkinTherapists, are all trained in Paramedical & Dermal skin therapies.


Our team will provide you with the care and expert advice you need to achieve the skin health results you want!  Using the Observ Skin analysis advanced technology we can view blemishes, fine lines, dryness and uneven skin tone in depth. This allows us to better understand your unique skin concerns to treat existing imperfections, and even address underlying concerns before they become visible.

Today we had Jess, who is a very lovely lady, however I experienced my most painful wax ever. Jess was not the therapist I booked with and I would have appreciated a phone call prior to advise the change of therapist. My daughter (12) also had her and had come home crying. This is not my daughter’s first wax and she has never complained before. If I knew Jess was less experienced I would have changed my daughters appointment. I have several patches of skin where the skin has been removed and fear that I will have bruising. My bikini line was waxed up to 20 x’s and is far from done properly. I would like to emphasise that Jess is a lovely person, but perhaps she needs someone to assist her whilst she is learning. I appreciate we all have up start somewhere and I am confident Jess will be able to improve in time with the right support and guidance.

Thank you for the opportunity to provide feedback. It was my first appointment back with you post COVID and I was very excited about getting my lash lift. I have had a lash lift before, previously done by Naddi and before that Tameka. It’s always an exciting pop of my lashes and I often get let’s of compliments. The staff member who performed the lift knew herself that it didn’t have an impact as she said she feared frying my lashes. There appeared no difference. She kindly offered to do them again, which resulted in me being late for work. Whilst there was a slight improvement I regret having the procedure. $75 is a big spend for me and a treat. It’s disappointing to have only a minor effect and not the same outcome as previously. I would hope that you would take notes to know what size of rods etc to use for my lashes. I told the staff member I wanted a POW and she said next tine we can do it differently. I would like the right result every time. The staff member was kind and respectful, however did not seem confident in the treatment. I waited until several hours after my treatment to provide feedback to see if after my lashes dried if they would improve and they sadly have not.

Manicure - I was surprised an obviously broken nail was not removed but instead gel straight over the top, missing nail was replaced but last 36 hours. Pedicure - nail was trimmed & now so sore I cannot wear a shoe on that foot.

I had shellac nails done and yes the young girl who did the treatment was very new and inexperienced. The shellac colour has faded after only a few days, my nails are soft and thin after excessive buffing and filing, and the shellac coating apart from fading is also soft and I doubt will last the week. The appointment also took well over an hour. Luckily I got a discount. Overall not happy

The appointment time was changed by Quay Day spa after it was booked on line I was then told it was not the price that I had booked it for. The offer was not very well explained and as far as I’m concerned if the business changes an appointment then they should honour the quote or at least explain that there will be a change of price. Not at all impressed about being argued with! I work in a client based industry and would certainly never treat a client this way

Good morning Michelle, as explained yesterday we had to move your daughters appointment to a different time due to breaking a piece of equipment - I do understand it was inconvenient but these things cannot always be avoided. We also resolved the situation with offering you 50% off your treatment the following day as due to the change in your daughters appointment she was unable to be booked in with the new employee. Also explained yesterday we post all or offers on social media (Facebook and Instagram) which had the explanations of the 'Welcome offer', I understand you do not follow our social media however this is how we have been posting our offers for the past 4 years. We are glad that both you and your daughter were more then happy with the lash lifts and we look forward to seeing you again soon.
