I made an online booking for 6pm and when I arrived the salon had my booking down as 5.30pm. As a result of their mix up they rushed my cut and had the apprentice do my blowdry. The staff were lovely (except the rude man who accused me of being late) but unfortunately the quality of their work is very poor and overpriced, I would not recommend this salon.

I wanted to experiment with colouring my hair as it's something I don't usually do. Ebonny is new to the salon and this was my first appointment with her. She listened to me and provided sound advice with candour and honesty. I am very happy with the result and will be back for more.

In my opinion when you have an appointment with your stylist or whomever, I feel the full attention should be given, If anyone walks in from the street they should be able to wait for attendance. Not your stylist in the middle of your blow dry or cut should leave you and assist the walkin especially if they are only there to purchase products.. Maybe someone should be at the front desk at all times when they have not clients themselves. There is nothing worse than having to wait in between wet hair and a blow dry whilst this is happening.

I highly recommend Vanity Hair & Beauty. It's a lovely relaxed environment. The staff are very friendly. I had a lovely head massage before my cut, and they even made my daughter a hot chocolate while she waited for me!

The colour and blend of the blonde works and the foils turned out wonderful. The half head blends well with the overall treatment of my hair. Very happy with the results.
